Ensemble Video Supporting New York Schools During This Unprecedented Time

Ensemble Video is announcing that will provide the Ensemble Video software platform FREE of charge to any New York State K-12 public school district or to any SUNY College or University through June 30, 2020.

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and the urgent need for many schools and colleges to move teaching and learning online, Ensemble Video will provide the Ensemble Video software platform FREE of charge to any New York State K-12 public school district or any SUNY college or University through June 30, 2020. The Ensemble Video platform can be delivered through its network of partners or directly through Ensemble Video.  Partners include the SUNY Information Technology Exchange Center, several Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) and numerous Regional Information Centers (RICs).

Ensemble Video offers easy-to-use tools to create, manage and share online video content video.  It also enables live video streaming and integrates with popular Web conferencing platforms like Zoom and WebEx as well as popular Learning Management Systems like Blackboard, Canvas and Moodle. A student assignment dropbox feature makes it easy to incorporate student video assignments into course learning and interactions. Ensemble Video also offers video search, video annotations and video quiz capabilities that enable schools and colleges to create an active, engaging learning environment.

For SUNY and NYS schools new to Ensemble Video all licensing fees will be waived through the end of the school year. For schools and colleges unable to access Ensemble Video through one of our partners, we can offer free service through our cloud-hosted Software-as-a-Service platform.
