INSIDE: Podcast Producer Implementation Complete

Ensemble Video offers an innovative new mechanism, developed in conjunction with GO4CAST, an Apple software consultancy based in Florida, that can consume content from  Apple’s Podcast Producer. Podcast Producer output is automatically fed to an Ensemble Video library where it can be easily published to any number of Web destinations. Video is automatically converted to two formats: one for desktop viewing in a Flash-based player, and another version of the video in a format suitable for viewing on an iPhone or iPod.

At the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, where this integration was first implemented, video content is fed into the system from a TANDBERG Content server (a videoconference recording appliance), but the system can be easily adapted to work with any Podcast Producer input.
